The cheapest places to buy perfume in the UK

Department stores, fragrance specialists, pharmacy chains and marketplaces all price differently. Here is how they compare and when each one wins.

There is no single cheapest shop for perfume in the UK. Different kinds of retailer win on different bottles, and the gap between them is often 20-30% on the same product.

Fragrance specialists Dedicated fragrance retailers usually carry the lowest everyday prices on mainstream designer bottles. Delivery charges vary, so check the total.

Large beauty retailers Strong on skincare and make-up, competitive on fragrance mainly during sitewide events. Loyalty schemes and free delivery thresholds can swing it.

Department stores Rarely the cheapest, but the safest for gifting, packaging and returns, and the first to get new launches.

Pharmacy chains Occasionally very sharp on a handful of bestsellers, and easy to collect from.

Marketplaces and unknown sellers Lowest headline prices, highest risk. Grey stock and fakes concentrate here. Read [buying fragrance safely online](/blog/buying-fragrance-safely-online) before taking the risk.

How to actually decide Rather than picking a shop, pick a bottle and compare every UK retailer selling it. The [UK prices page](/prices) does exactly that, and the [retailers page](/retailers) lists every shop we track.

The short version The cheapest place changes with every bottle. Compare per product, on total price with delivery, and buy from a retailer you would be happy to return to.
